Hey there Beloved!

The weather is slowly but surely getting a little cooler. So we are going to continue getting cozy by wrapping up in our Father’s warm arms and falling deeper in love with Him.

Today’s devotional was sparked by a recent tearful conversation I had with God. It was a moment of discouragement, slight disappointment, and feeling alone. I immediately started asking God to wrap me in His love–and He did just that.

I was reminded of how He has been better than good to me. How much He has brought me through and His promises to continue to.

But more than just what He has done, I was reminded of Who He is. His word, His character, His grace, His mercy, His love. It always remains.

The full title of today’s devotional is “Seasons Change, Yet His Love Remains.”

God’s love for us is deep and we will never grasp the fullness of His love. However, we do need to grasp that His love will never leave us.

Love requires transparency, so can I have a transparent moment with you Sis?

During moments of hardship, losses, waiting, and so forth, I have caught myself questioning God’s love for me and His will for my life. I mean, deep down, I know that He cares for me and wants the best for me. But these moments occur and every time God reminds me of this: His love remains.

While shedding the ugliest of tears, God began speaking to me about His steady love, and I immediately thought about an anchor. An anchor is an object used to keep a boat secure in its place. Despite incoming storms, crashing waves, or what may be floating around it, the anchor holds the boat steady.

In the same way, we must anchor ourselves in God’s love. When seasons change or when we face difficulties, we must remember that who He says He is, is who He is. His character remains. His love, grace, mercy, and essence, what He stands on and the truth of His Word, do not change.

So Sis, whatever season you find yourself in, whether it’s one of blooming or pruning, waiting or winning, remember this truth: Seasons Change, Yet His Love Remains.

God’s love is your anchor. It’s what holds you when life feels uncertain and what steadies you when everything around you is shifting. His love doesn’t waver with the wind or fade with the falling leaves. It remains constant, faithful, and true.

So today, take a deep breath, lean in close, and rest in His unchanging love.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, My God in Heaven,

Father, I thank You for Your steadfast love that never wavers. Thank You for being my anchor through every season. Even when life feels uncertain, Your love remains the constant that keeps me grounded.

Lord, in moments when my heart feels heavy or my faith feels fragile, remind me that Your character never changes. You are the same God in the valley as You are on the mountaintop. Help me to remember that Your presence surrounds me even when I can’t see it, and Your love holds me even when I can’t feel it.

God, I may not always understand the season I’m in, but I choose to trust that You are working in it. I choose to believe that even when everything around me shifts, You are unshakable. You are faithful. You are love.

So today, I surrender every worry, every question, and every changing circumstance into Your hands. Thank You for reminding me that seasons change, yet Your love remains.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
